Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana was founded in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, two Italian designers who met while working at the same fashion house. Domenico Dolce, originally from Sicily, and Stefano Gabbana, from Milan, both had backgrounds in design and a passion for fashion.

Their first collection was presented in Milan, where they debuted their first line of women’s ready-to-wear. Their early work combined traditional Italian craftsmanship with modern, cutting-edge designs, gaining attention for its sensuality and intricate detailing.
